Overview
A multi-site healthcare network was running critical administrative workflows - including patient intake, referral management, and billing coordination - on a platform that was 15 years old, no longer vendor-supported, and increasingly difficult to maintain. The compliance risk was real, the scalability ceiling had been reached, and the internal IT team lacked the capacity to manage the migration alone.

The legacy platform was deeply embedded in daily operations across multiple sites. Any disruption to live workflows carried direct patient impact risk. At the same time, the system held 15 years of business logic - much of it undocumented - that had to be preserved, understood, and faithfully re-implemented on the new platform. The migration had to be invisible to end users while being transformational under the hood.
Our Solution
Codeless IQ led a structured, phased re-platforming initiative, beginning with a comprehensive discovery and documentation exercise to map every workflow, rule, and integration in the legacy system. We then designed the new Pega architecture in parallel, using a staged cutover approach that allowed us to migrate workflow by workflow - with full rollback capability at every stage. Live operations were maintained throughout, with zero unplanned downtime across all sites.
